Get Organized

Make it Easier for others to help

Sometimes making things easier means making it easier for others to help. I have started by labeling the kids drawers for them so that they knew in which drawer everything belonged. This carried over to labeling the shelves in the linen closet so that everyone would know which shelf was for what. I also made the lower shelves hold the sheets for the children's beds and bath towels, while putting the adult size towels and sheets on higher shelves.

I have also organized my shelves in my freezer. I use to put everything in the freezer just so that it would fit. I have since rearranged it so that the beef is on one shelf, poultry and fish on another, veggies on a shelf, and then I have a miscellaneous shelf. It makes it so much easier to know what I need to re-stock at just a glance. This has also worked for my canned foods, it saves looking at each can to see what is actually there.
