30 Minute Goulash

This has always been a quick and easy standby for me.
The great thing is that pretty much all of the
ingredients are optional. I leave out whatever I
don't have:

- 2 lbs of ground beef
- 1 lb box of pasta (I've used macaroni, rotini, shells,
egg noodles and a combination of all)
- 1 large can of whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 small can of tomato paste
- cheese (I've used velveta, cheddar, cheeze whiz) the
amount will vary according to taste
- 1 can of mushrooms, or fresh mushrooms
- 1 large can of kidney beans
- chili powder to taste
- oregano to taste
- salt and pepper to taste (I normally don't use salt)

I start by browning my ground beef and cooking pasta.
Once the ground beef is cooked, drain the grease, put ground beef in a large pot.
I then add everything except the cheese and pasta.
I stir it all up. Then stir in the cooked pasta. Once
the pasta is well blended into everything I add the
cheese stirring it into the rest of the dish so that
it melts pretty evenly through out.
I can normally have this finished from beginning to end 30 minutes.
I have cooked all variations of this dish leaving out
what I don't have. I've also been known to throw in some corn.
