Mark and Tracy are the proud parents of six beautiful and unique children ranging in ages from 16 to a year old. They live in Virginia, where they both work full time, opposites shifts to avoid day care. Tracy enjoys having a large family, cooking, arts and crafts, genealogy, being a Girl Scout Leader, and writing. "I am currently fulfilling some of my writing dreams by trying to publish a successful online e-zine for large families. I hope to provide a valuable resource for large families across the world via the internet." While being the mother of six children is very rewarding, it is also a struggle for balance. Organization is the hardest thing for me. I have been able to get myself organized, but I haven't mastered the skill of getting my entire family and the house organized to my satisfaction. The easiest thing for me to do for my large family has been cooking. I never had a problem adapting to cooking meals for any number of people on any budget. It is a new experience for me to be part of a large family, because I was only one of two children. I did, however, always say I wanted twelve children and I'm half way there. Mark enjoys playing and coaching almost every type of sport. He also likes fishing, motorcycles, plane rides, beaches and concerts. Mark is experienced in large families because he was one of six children. Our children love going to sporting events, museums, amusement parks, zoos, and historical sites. We have done several "educational field trips" to Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, North Carolina, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Maryland. We all find it great being part of a large family. As parents we love to watch the children interact, grow, learn, and accept each other even when there are differences. As parents it is very rewarding for us to see how well are children do because we've provided them with many siblings and the skills to adapt. The most difficult thing is finding the money and hours to do everything and anything we would like. It is great to know that through good and bad times we have each other.
